What We Collect

CreatorReply collects the following limited data:

• Anthropic API Key — stored locally on your device using Chrome's storage API. It is never transmitted to our servers.
• Instagram Comment Text — read from the active tab solely to generate a reply. This data is sent directly to the Anthropic API and is not stored or logged by CreatorReply.
• User Preferences — tone and style settings stored locally on your device.

What We Don't Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, or any personal identity information
• We do not track your browsing history or web activity
• We do not collect financial or payment information
• We do not use analytics or tracking pixels
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties

How Your Data Is Used

Your API key and comment text are used solely to generate AI-powered replies via the Anthropic API. CreatorReply acts as a local interface between Instagram and the Anthropic API — we do not have a backend server that receives, stores, or processes your data.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Please refer to Stripe's Privacy Policy for information on how they handle payment data.

Data Storage

All data (API key, preferences) is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage API. This data never leaves your device except when your API key is used to make a direct request to Anthropic's servers.

Third-Party Services

• Anthropic API — comment text is sent to Anthropic to generate replies. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
• Stripe — used for Pro plan payments. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.

Your Rights

Since we don't collect or store personal data on our servers, there is nothing to delete or export. You can remove all locally stored data at any time by uninstalling the extension or clearing extension data from Chrome settings.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
